Current Trash Routes
ORANGE
Starts at Rodies Restaurant in Glendale Springs, going toward Mountain Aire seafood on HWY 16 then it goes down 163 toward West Jefferson. ( If you live in these areas) we provide Trash Pickup on Wednesdays of each week
YELLOW
This route includes Idlewild Road, (if you live in these areas) we provide Trash Pickup on Wednesdays of each week. (Ends at the intersection of Hwy 221)
GREEN
Green Route: Starts at Coppermine Ranch Apt. in Laurel Springs, going toward Jefferson on HWY 88 and ends at Sheets Bridge New River Access. ( If you live in these areas) we provide (Trash Pickup on Thursdays of each week).
BLUE
Beaver Creek Area in West Jefferson. Trash pickup will take place on Wednesdays of each week.
Rural Trash Service
Get out your cans, cause here comes the Garbage Man!
How would you like to not have to worry about taking the trash off anymore? Well we feel your pain and have an option for you. You can use your own Trash Bin or we’ll provide you with a 64 gallon trash bin, come by each week and take it off for you.
This is a pricing schedule for Trash Pickup services and it breaks down how we price trash collection. Our Business model incorporates “As Needed Trash Pickups” as well as routinely scheduled pickups, considering the nature of our customer base. Please allow 48 HRS for “As Needed” pickups to take place, once a pickup has been scheduled.
As our routes are subject to change we cannot guarantee your exact pickup time-of-day each week, we will be there as soon as possible!: Therefore ALL TRASH MUST BE ON CURB OR IN DESIGNATED AREA NO LATER THAN 6:00 AM ON PICK UP DAY TO ENSURE SERVICE FOR THAT WEEK.
Prices are for trash pickup only and does not include the collection of recycling bins. We currently do not offer recycling services. (Hopefully coming soon!)
Monthly Pricing
1 (32 – 64 gallon) Garbage cart with weekly pickup: $45/month

Just Once and As Needed Pricing
As Needed Pickups: $25 pickup fee + $60/Hourly fee to collect trash (1hr min) + any “Loose Trash” or “Extra Bag Charges” that might apply. Max waste weight per pickup is 150lbs (see “Specifications” section below for more details)
Monthly Payments
Payments will be processed through Paypal with the first months payment being made up front and a monthly invoice being emailed out on the 15th of each month for the next months payment. Any extra charges will show up on this invoice, for example: maybe you had an extra pickup within the month. Payments due within 10 days of receiving invoice. If payment is not made within the 10 day payment window we will reach out to you to verify our services are still needed.

SPECIFICATIONS
All Pickups are based on an average of 4 weekly pickups per month for each property. On months that have 5 weeks we will handle your trash that week also. At this time we recommend using the Trash container that is currently in place and dependent on the size and number of containers at each property will determine each customers pickup price.
By using what you already have, you can help reduce waste in the High Country!
Your options for containers are as follows:
We will provide a Trash bin for you if you do not have one ($25/Install Fee), although if it is damaged you will be charged for a replacement container. Containers we provide will have a Steadfast Logo on them as well. If services are ended we will come pickup container.

Use the container you already have at your house (Highly recommended/preferred)
All Trash must be in Trash bags and tied securely, as we do not pick up loose trash. If we have to pick up loose trash a $25 charge will be incurred on a per visit basis. (Pictures will be provided)
Will my extra bags be picked up, if I have any?
Yes! Per the Steadfast Rates & Guidelines, the bag limit is only what you can fit in your trash can; additional bags are $2.00 each, and charges are applied, following the pickup. (Pictures will be provided)
NOT TO WORRY! – We do not enforce these charges for the “occasional extra bag”. This rule is meant for pickups following holidays when everyone has extra trash, and for customers who consistently have extra trash.
Non-acceptable Residential Waste
Items that cannot be placed in your residential cart are:
(Note – These items are also not acceptable with recyclables)
Automotive fluids, motor oil, antifreeze or batteries
Paint, stains, varnish, etc.
Any hazardous waste
Fluorescent bulbs (call your local hardware store)
Tires of any kind
Electronics – computers, televisions. VCR, DVD player, etc.
Dead Animals
Roofing or Construction materials
Holidays
WHAT ARE THE HOLIDAYS THAT STEADFAST DOES NOT OPERATE?
Steadfast does not operate on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter and Fourth of July.
Weather Conditions
WHAT IF THERE IS HAZARDOUS WEATHER ON MY PICKUP DAY?
In the event of hazardous or dangerous weather conditions, Steadfast may choose to cancel routes for that given day. In the event a route is cancelled, all customers on the canceled route will be notified. Steadfast services will resume pickups in an orderly fashion once the weather has passed and get you taken care of promptly.

Light-Duty Handyman Services
Casual/Minor home repairs/maintenance; your to-do-list or honey-do list. Basically anything you don’t want to do or cannot do for a number of reasons. Here is a list of services we provide. If you don’t see it on the list, just ask us.
Per the State of North Carolina we are very limited in what services we can legally provide.
- Cost: Starting at $60/per installer, but an estimate can be provided upon request
- Assemble furniture, lights, lamps
- Plumbing: Install toilet, garbage disposal, dishwasher, shower heads, faucets
- Pressure Washing Homes, Decks, Fences, and more.
- Painting: home interior walls, patio floor, garage floor
- Staining decks and log Homes
- Change light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries, install/replace new alarms
- Hang pictures, art and other articles
- Movement and placement of household furniture and items;
- Repair/Replace Roof
- Replace door handles, dead-bolts, locks
- Install shelves for storage (house, garage)
- Carpentry: Repair/replace rotting steps, install kitchen handles, cabinet door replacement, sheetrock work
